Regret for Doing Wrong

Regret for doing wrong,

A feeling of sorrow in the heart,

Like a gust of wind blowing strong,

Begging for forgiveness for the hurtful part.

Many times it crosses the mind,

The wrong decision that was made,

When desires blinded the sight,

Causing bitter consequences that stayed.

But now there's only regret,

And a desire to make things right,

Learning from mistakes of the past,

And promising to be a better sight.

Because mistakes cannot be erased,

But lessons can be learned,

Let's make mistakes our teacher,

To make us more mature in taking turns.

So don't dwell in regret forever,

Rise up and improve ourselves,

Make mistakes as stepping stones,

To achieve success in future selves.
